Dr. Mariam Amiri, DPM, QME, FACMSP
Dr. Amiri is a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine; class of 1993. Her post graduate training was through Cornell University affiliated Hospitals in New York. She performed her first year of training at Jamaica Hospital, a level one trauma center. Her second year of training was at St. Barnabas Hospital as a surgical resident. Dr. Amiri has extensive training in vascular, orthopedics, trauma, and plastic surgery as well as overall medical management of patients in hospitals. Her professional achievements include: Dean’s list school of engineering, UCONN: 1987-1988, Pi Delta, 1993: National Podiatric Honor society for academic achievement. She practiced in Connecticut and New York for two years prior to her move to California in 1997.
Dr. Amiri joined an existing practice in Loma Linda California with a satellite office in Apple Valley. She eventually took over as the Medical Director of the Loma Linda Foot and Ankle Center and Loma Linda Ambulatory Surgical Center in 1998. She is an active staff member at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Loma Linda Community Medical center. In addition she is on staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center and at Victor Valley Hospital. Dr. Amiri has performed extensive diabetic wound procedures, limb salvage surgeries, as well as corrective and reconstructive podiatric surgeries. She is a Diplomate, American Board of Multiple Specialties, Board Certified in prevention and treatment of Diabetic foot wounds and diabetic foot wear.
Dr. Amiri has been a certified Qualified Medical Evaluator/Qualified Legal Evaluator by the state of California since 1998.
Dr. Robin Lie, DPM
Dr. Lie graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1998 cum laude with a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. He completed a Podiatric Orthopedic Residency Program in 1999 and a Residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 2000. Dr. Lie began practicing in Bakersfield from August of 2000 to November of 2003. In December of 2003 he joined the staff at Loma Linda Foot & Ankle Center. Dr. Lie is Board Qualified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He has staff privileges at Loma Linda University Medical Center facilities, Victor Valley Community Hospital in Victorville and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Apple Valley.
Dr. Lie has a special interest in Sports Medicine and was president of the student chapter of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine during his time in podiatry school. In addition, he has been a part of the medical staff for events such as the San Francisco Marathon, Western States 100 Mile and Arceo Karate Tournament. Part of Dr. Lie’s residency training also included a 3 month rotation with Dr. Amol Saxena at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation Department of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Zhang, DPM
Dr. Zhang is a podiatric foot and ankle specialist. He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He was on the Dean’s list (2000-2004), received the Harvery Stiffer Memorial Award for outstanding student in microbiology and Pi Delta National Podiatric Honor Society for academic achievement in 2004. Dr. Zhang completed a three year comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency program at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. He joined the Loma Linda Foot and Ankle Center in 2007. He is currently affiliated with Loma Linda University Medical Center, St Mary Medical Center and Victor Valley Community Hospital. He has an interest in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, diabetic wound management, diabetic foot care, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
Esther McMackin
Esther McMackin has worked for Loma Linda Foot and Ankle Center since 1993. She is currently the Office Administrator and handles all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and human resources. In addition to handling the business administration for the practice, Mrs. McMackin is a certified x-ray technician.
Maryann Haith
Maryann has worked for Loma Linda Foot and Ankle Center since 1998. She is currently the Assistant Administrator and handles the day to day operations of the practice. In addition, she is the surgical coordinator and a certified x-ray technician.
Chauntel Britt
Chauntel Britt has been with Loma Linda Foot & Ankle Center since 2003. She is a medical assistant and handles all aspects of patient care including gait scanning, diabetic shoe fitting, and assisting the doctors with procedures. Chauntel also handles front desk activities such as checking in patients and organizing the schedules.
Ashley Haith
Ashley has been with Loma Linda Foot & Ankle Center since 2003. She oversees the front desk operations and handles patient referrals.
Elsa Stressman
Elsa Stressman has been with Loma Linda Foot & Ankle Center since 2004. She is a bilingual medical assistant and handles all aspects of patient care including gait scanning, diabetic shoe fitting and assisting the doctors with procedures.
Yvette Quezada
Yvette Quezada has been with Loma Linda Foot & Ankle Center since 2006. She is a medical assistant and handles all aspects of patient care including gait scanning, diabetic shoe fitting and assisting the doctors with procedures.
Dalila Blanco
Dalila Blanco has been with Loma Linda Foot & Ankle Center since 2009. She is a bilingual medical assistant and handles the front desk activities in the Loma Linda location. Some of her duties include scheduling and checking in patients.
